PINEAPPLE SMOOTHY AND SOUP MORNING

TODAY I WOKE UP AND ATE SOME CAPSULES OF GUARANA. THE GUARANA CAPSULES I TOOK IS MADE FROM THE SEED FROM A BERRY THAT GROWS IN BRAZIL. IT IS A NATURAL SOURCE OF CAFFEINE. I BOUGHT IT AT THE GNC STORE. I THEN DRANK AS MUCH SPRING WATER AS I COULD COMFORTABLY DRINK.

THEN I DID WASHED A FEW DISHES AND SORTED SOME PAPERS. THEN ABOUT A HALF OF AN HOUR AFTER THE GUARANA I DECIDED TO MAKE A SMOOTHY.

I TOOK A WHOLE PINEAPPLE AND SKINNED IT AND REMOVED THE CORE. THEN I TOOK A HAND FULL OF RED SEEDLESS GRAPES AND REMOVED THE ROTTEN ONES AND RINSED THE REST OF THEM. I PUT IT ALL IN THE SMOOTHY MAKER WITH 4 ICE CUBES. THEN I PUT IN A SMALL HAND FULL OF WALNUTS AND A SMALL HAND FULL OF BRAZIL NUTS. THEN I THREW IN A SMALL HAND FULL OF DRIED CRANBERRYS. I BLENDED IT ALL UP VERY WELL AND SLOWLY DRANK HALF OF IT.

THEN I WAS CRAVING SOMETHING SALTY, SO I PUT SOME LEFTOVER SOUP ON THE STOVE TO WARM UP. THE SOUP WAS MADE LIKE THIS. FIRST I TOOK SOME LEFTOVER COLLARD GREENS AND GREEN BEANS THAT I HAD LEFT OUT BY ACCIDENT THE NIGHT BEFORE, AND SINCE THEY SMELLED ALRIGHT AND SINCE IT WAS JUST COLLARDS, GREEN BEANS, AND SEA SALT, I DECIDED TO BOIL THEM IN SOME SOUP TO KILL ANY BACTERIA SINCE I ACCIDENTALLY LEFT THEM OUT OVERNIGHT. SO I ADDED ENOUGH WATER TO COVER THEM GREENS AND BROUGHT IT TO A BOIL.

ONCE IT WAS BOILING, I THEN THREW IN SOME BABY BELLA MUSHROOMS THAT WERE ABOUT TO GO BAD IF I DIDN'T USE THEM SOON (I ACCIDENTALLY LEFT THEM OUT OF THE REFRIGERATOR OVERNIGHT ALSO). SO I MADE SURE THE GREENS AND MUSHROOMS WERE BOILING SO AS TO STERILIZE THEM SINCE I ACCIDENTALLY LEFT THEM OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE. ONCE THIS WAS BOILING I THREW IN SOME CHOPPED RED BELL PEPPERS THAT WERE STARTING TO SHRIVEL UP IN THE FRIDGE BECAUSE I FORGOT ABOUT THEM. THEY WERE NOT ROTTED BUT JUST SHRIVELING. SINCE THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS WERE TOTALLY FRESH I DIDN'T WORRY IF THEY WERE COOKED WELL. SO THEN I CHOPPED SOME CARROTS AND CELERY AND TOSSED THEM INTO THE BOILING WATER. THEN I TURNED THE HEAT OFF AND PUT THE LID BACK ON THEN I STARTED SLICING PART OF AN ONION, AND THREW THAT IN TO COOL THE WHOLE POT DOWN. ONIONS DON'T TAKE LONG TO COOK SO I USUALLY THROW THEM IN LAST ON THE COOL DOWN.

I WAS IN A HURRY TO EAT SOMETHING WHEN I FIRST MADE THIS SOUP SO I PUT IN SOME MORE CARROTS AND CELERY TO COOL IT FASTER. THEN I POURED IN SOME SPRING WATER TO COOL IT EVEN FASTER. ONCE IT WAS COOL ENOUGH TO STICK MY FINGER IN THE SOUP FOR A SPLIT SECOND WITHOUT BURNING ME, I TOOK ONE OF THOSE "BLENDERS ON A STICK" AND BLENDED PART OF THE SOUP TO MAKE A BASE. THEN I ADDED SEA SALT UNTIL IT TASTED RIGHT.ONCE THE SOUP TASTED RIGHT I TOOK IT OUT A BOWLS WORTH AND ADDED A TABLESPOON OF EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL AND ONE TABLE SPOON OF VIRGIN COCONUT OIL JUST TO THAT BOWL AND MIXED IT IN WELL WITH A SPOON. IT WAS TASTY SOUP.

BUT ANYWAY THIS IS THE SOUP RECIPE THAT I MADE YESTERDAY. I HAD SOME LEFTOVER, SO THIS MORNING, ABOUT 5 MINUTES AFTER DRINKING HALF OF THE PINEAPPLE SMOOTHY (RECIPE IS ABOVE) I HEATED THIS SOUP AND MIXED IN 2 TABLESPOONS OF OLIVE AND TWO TABLESPOONS OF THE COCONUT OIL, AND MIXED IN THE OIL AS IT WAS HEATING UP. I WAS MIXING IN THE OIL AND EATING IT AS IT WAS HEATING UP. AS SOON AS IT WAS WARM ENOUGH I IMMEDIATELY DUMPED IT INTO A BIG ENOUGH BOWL AND ATE ABOUT 1/3 OF IT AND THEN TOOK THE "BLENDER ON A STICK" AND BLENDED THE REST OF THE SOUP TOGETHER TO MAKE AN EMULSION OF THE OIL AND THE VEGGIES. I THEN ATE A LITTLE MORE AND PUT THE REST INTO THE FRIDGE TO EAT LATER TODAY AFTER THE OTHER HALF OF MY SMOOTHY.

THIS SOUP IS TASTY AND THE OIL IN IT IS VERY HEALTHY. EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL AND VIRGIN COCONUT OIL ARE VERY GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN AND THEY MAKE MEALS VERY SATISFYING. SINCE I DON'T EAT MEAT I NEED TO ADD THESE OILS TO MY DIET TO GIVE ME SUSTAINED ENERGY. PART OF THE REASON PEOPLE LIKE TO EAT MEAT IS BECAUSE IT DIGEST SLOW. OILS DIGEST SLOW ALSO AND OILS ARE A CLEANER SOURCE OF ENERGY FOR OUR BODIES THAN MEAT. EATING TOO MUCH MEAT IS UNHEALTHY FOR ANIMALS TO EAT UNLESS THEY ARE CARNIVORES OR OMNIVORES. EACH ANIMAL IN NATURE HAS A NATURAL DIET THAT IS UNIQUE TO THAT SPECIES. HUMANS ARE MOST LIKE FRUGIVORES IN DESIGN. HUMANS ARE NOT CARNIVORES AND EATING LOTS OF MEAT IS NOT GOOD FOR OUR BODIES AND MAKES OUR BODYS BECOME TOO ACIDIC AND THIS LEADS TO DISEASE. ADDING THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF PLANT FATS AND OILS TO MEALS (ALONG WITH OTHER FACTORS) IS KEY TO BEING A SUCCESSFUL VEGETARIAN.

I HAVE BEEN A 95% STRICT VEGAN VEGETARIAN FOR OVER 3 YEARS. I HAVE PREPARED OVER 95% OF ALL OF MY MEALS AND HAVE BEEN KEEPING A FOOD/HEALTH JOURNAL AND RECORDING WHAT I EAT AND THE WAY I FEEL. I ALSO LIFT WEIGHTS, RIDE A BICYCLE, PLAY TENNIS, AND HAVE TONS OF ENERGY. I LIVE IN AN "EXTREME ENERGY AND PAIN FREE BODY ". I DIDN'T ALWAYS FEEL THIS GOOD. I GIVE ALL THE CREDIT TO MY RENEWED PAIN FREE BODY TO BEING "VEGAN VEGETARIAN" AND THE WAY I EAT MY FOODS IN COMBINATIONS AND RATIOS THAT DIGEST EFFICIENTLY.
