Skin problems can be because of either an allergy to certain foods, a lack in essential nutrients, or because certain good nutrients are making you detox and expelling the toxins through the skin.
It is probably because of all three. Raw carrot juice helped my skin problems a lot, also cutting out spices and other possible allergens. It will take trial and error to figure it out completely.

Make sure to keep a food journal.
This is the only way I know to figure out your skin problems. Also everyone is a little different, so some foods that others can eat, might not be the best for another person.
Also, I just use regular Ivory soap for shaving and washing, and then moisturize with a little Extra virgin olive oil.
Check out the chart, and see if you can modify your diet to it for a week or two and see what happens.

If you can type it on the computer each day, it will be even easier for me to help you. But it is all important to at least write it on paper.
It takes a few days for food to "show up on your skin" and it takes about 5 days for bumps to diminish after you quit ingesting the allergenic food.
Sometimes it can take a week or longer for it to get out of your system.
